Eligibility criteria:

• Applications are invited from registered master or doctoral students, postdocs or affiliated researchers at UBO, UKB, DZNE or MPINB. 
• If you are a PhD-student, you must be enrolled as such at the University of Bonn or at one of the associated partners at the time of application and for the entire duration of your planned stay.
• Official confirmation from the institution for which you are applying
• Priority will be given to those who apply for a grant to visit institutions abroad in order to learn new methods and/or work on a joint project.
• Preference will be given to researchers based in Bonn.

 Required documents:

• CV
• Letter of motivation (max. one page)
• Status of the University of Bonn, University Hospital Bonn, DZNE or MPINB
• Letter of invitation from the receiving institution

31 January 2026 (feedback by 28 February 2026) for any project starting between 01 March and 31 August 2026. 

30 June 2026 (feedback by 31 July 2026) for any project starting between 01 September 2026 and 28 February 2027. 

31 January 2027 (feedback until 28 February 2027) for any project starting between 01 March and 31 August 2027. 

30 June 2027 (feedback until 31 July 2027) for any project starting between 01 September and 31 October 2027.
