Join the NTEU Doctoral Network! Call for applications: NeurotechEU Doctoral Network

If you are a doctoral candidate looking for a new opportunity to join NeurotechEU and connect with others, the newly launched NeurotechEU Doctoral Network might be exactly what you are looking for.

The NeurotechEU Doctoral Network brings together doctoral candidates in neurotechnology from across Europe. Participants will have access to international collaboration, professional development opportunities, and insights into diverse career paths. They will take part in online and hybrid activities, as well as an annual in-person meeting to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas with fellow researchers across Europe.

Curriculum Overview

  • November 2026: Kick-Off Event of the First Cohort (Welcoming the first cohort of PhD students and introducing them to the Doctoral Network; hybrid)
  • January 2027: Early-Career Seminar 1 (Seminar on essential PhD skills and navigating your PhD journey; online)
  • March 2027: Research Idea Pitch (Presentation of your own research and feedback from peers; online)
  • May 2027: NeurotechEU Assembly (First in-person meeting of the Doctoral Network; on-site)
  • June 2027: Early-Career Seminar 2 (Seminar on planning and making efficient use of mobility opportunities for international collaboration; online

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Are enrolled as a doctoral candidate at a NeurotechEU partner university.
  • Conduct research related to neurotechnology (broadly defined).
     

Early-stage doctoral candidates (ideally within their first year, but not exclusively) are particularly welcome. The Network is an opportunity for doctoral candidates who are not already part of a doctoral school or want to have a valuable add-on to their existing doctoral school programme.
