- Neurodegenerative Disorders I: Genes, Mechanisms and Clinical Aspects (October 19-23, 2026)
- Sensory Perception in Clinical and Practice and Research (November 30 – December 04, 2026)
- Present your Research! (November 30 – December 04, 2026)
- Alzheimer's Disease: Clinical Features and Pathogenic Mechanisms (November 30 – December 11, 2026)
The courses can be awarded with 1,5 to 10 ECTS. Refer to the specific course for more information on the program.
How can I secure a place on one of the courses?
If you’re interested in one of the doctoral courses, make sure to submit your application – including your CV and a brief motivation letter – explaining how the course aligns with your research and academic goals to neurotech@ki.se. Please not that each doctoral course has a different application deadline and applications should be sent to no shorter than one month before the start of the specific course. KI will perform the selection process.

Participation in the course can only be guaranteed once the Karolinska Institutet has approved your participation as the application will go on a first-come, first-served basis. So be quick and apply as soon as possible!
After being accepted into one of the courses offered by the Karolinska Institutet, Bonn students have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship. Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to apply for a scholarship, you must be a doctoral student employed at the University of Bonn/University Hospital Bonn.
