Professor Frank-Erik de Leeuw, MD, PhD, is a neurologist and professor of vascular neurology at the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Professor Dr. de Leeuw has longstanding experience in treating strokes in young patients. He is the principal investigator of several prominent studies, including FUTURE and ODYSSEY, which focus on identifying novel risk factors and the prognosis of stroke in young people. In this lecture, he will share key insights from his work.
 
The lecture will take place as part of the neurological colloquium on Thursday, 26 February 2026 in the Department of Neurology, Lecture Theatre 2 and will be streamed via WebEx.
