Doctoral Courses at Karolinska Institutet
Exciting news for PhD students!  Karolinska Institutet is once again offering a wide range of doctoral courses in neuroscience and neurotechnology for the fall 2026 semester, open to all NeurotechEU students. These courses are primarily designed to support the academic development of PhD students and complement their individual study plans, but postdocs are also welcome to apply. All doctoral courses will be held on-site in Stockholm, there’s no option to attend online. 
NeurotechEU Business Winter School from November 23 – 27, 2026 (on-site)
The University of Bonn is pleased to announce and invite you to the NeurotechEU Business Winter School 2026, "From Research to Use Case: Translating Neurotechnology into Real-World Impact". The Winter School is organized in collaboration with Radboud University and Reykjavik University, and takes place within the framework of NeurotechEU. Targeted at advanced Master's students and PhD candidates, the Winter School will take place online from November 23-27, 2026, on-site in Bonn, Germany.

NeurotechEU Meet-up on 18 June 2026
On behalf of the Vice Rectors Birgit Ulrike Münch and Ilona Grunwald, we would like to invite you to this year’s NeurotechEU Meet-up Bonn. This event is hosted by the Transfer Center enaCom and is entitled: From Lab to Market: A Neurotech Spin-off Journey We will follow a real founding journey from university research to a marketable product and discuss what it takes to translate neurotechnology into impact. The session is designed to increase awareness among students and lecturers for entrepreneurial skills and support structures, showing how to leverage transfer tools, mentors, and funding routes to move responsible neurotech innovations into practice.

The Summer School, which is targeted to advanced Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, will take place from August, 24 – September 04, 2026, partially online and onsite in Istanbul, Turkey.

Joint Autumn School on Decision-Making
How do we make decisions – and why do we sometimes fail? The University of Bonn and Radboud University are pleased to invite applications for the Joint Autumn School on Decision-Making, organised within the NeurotechEU alliance.  This one-week, in-person programme brings together students and researchers from across the NeurotechEU alliance to explore how decisions are shaped – from cognitive models and neural mechanisms to clinical conditions and ethical challenges.
